Database Contents Overview

The Brivit™ database website offers access to a unique bibliographic collection of published material relating to the switched reluctance machine (SRM). The database provides full coverage of all scholarly work including conference papers, journal articles and academic dissertations. The database also contains an extensive collection of intellectual property works through the recording of worldwide patent specifications. The database values all forms of publication equally, allowing the user to judge the works impact without bias. This service is aimed at both the commercial and the academic communities involved in work relating to the research and development of products containing a switched reluctance machine drive.

The database is being improved all the time and new material is added as soon as it becomes available. As an indication of the increase in SR activity over the last two decades, the graphs below illustrate the rate of publication for both scholarly material and intellectual property.
